Whatever may be listed here, we’re always looking for talented people of all types to add to our staff. We do not discriminate based on age, however if you are under 18 and your parents don’t let you go to shows, we probably won’t be placing you on Photography staff. In addition to quality skill and a love of music, all applicants must be responsible, reliable, able to abide by deadlines, and willing to communicate with editors!

Upon applying for a position, you will be asked for links to or short written sample pieces of your work. Press access will NEVER be granted for sample pieces, so please don’t ask. In the case of photography applicants, sample pieces need not be band shots, but it would be advantageous for you to present them to us (even if they were taken from the crowd, like these were).

• Interview Staff
  Description: Conducts and writes assigned band interviews for the Zine portion of the site.
  Requirements: An active Shout!MB account (we want to get to know you first. Editor’s discretion as to time period), acceptance of all types of music, ability to communicate well in written and spoken English, ability to conduct email, instant messenger, and/or phone interviews, [in the case of audio interviews] a recording device, ability to represent Shout! in a professional manner, good research skills.

• Photograhpy Staff
  Description: Does live photography at concerts on Shout!’s behalf.
  Requirements: Photography skill, appropriate equipment, ability to travel (2-3 hour radius of home), ability to represent Shout! in a professional manner, ability to purchase own tickets occasionally (we can’t always guarantee guest list access for shows).
